Late 19th century, the largest a Norwegian tin box (Bride's box) in oval form with carved geometric patterned designs to lid and sides, unmarked (10 x 14 1/2 x 9 in.); the second box in chest form with hinged lid, blue painted ground with floral motif, iron escutcheon without key, unmarked (6 1/2 x 6 x 10 7/8 in.); the third an oval bentwood form with fitted lid, all over red wash, sides with painted floral decoration, interior pencil inscribed "B / Mommay / Lanc. Pa," with ink inscribed paper label to interior (5 1/4 x 15 x 8 1/2 in.)

Some scratches; overall wear to painted finish commensurate with age. Pennsylvania box interior lid with later glue, some cracks, missing some nails and a few later nails.
