18th century, likely French or German, unmarked, rectangular case in green shagreen veneer, exterior lid and front with scrolling gold mounts with putti, cloud, and bird motifs, opens to a complementary magenta upholstered interior fitted with an adjustable writing instrument and four nibs, dual lidded glass jars with gilt coffered floral lid.

1 3/8 x 2 5/8 x 1 3/8 in.

Some wear and areas of loss to shagreen and magenta upholstery; one inkwell missing gilt collar; some bending to nibs.
