19th century, sarcophagus form with floral medallion ring handle mounts, light and dark wood banded border inlay, inlaid escutcheon with key, raised on paw feet, opens to twin hinge-lidded compartments flanking a central well with cut crystal glass. Included is a Kings pattern tea caddy shell spoon, no Assay mark, mark likely of John Blake, 1820 date mark, with period script monogram, includes key.
