Artur Samofalov studied at the National Academy of Fine Arts & Architecture in Kyiv, Ukraine. From 2014-2017 he studied for a master's degree in graphic design and new media at the Institute of Arts of the University of Opolskiy in Poland.

Samofalov is best known for his work in traditional medium of watercolor, as well as the new media of interactive video. He has exhibited extensively, including the International Watercolor Biennale in Albania; Royal Watercolor Society Contemporary Watercolor Competition in London; and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Kyiv, Ukraine.
