Tarault, Paris, circa 1820, patinated bronze figure of Mercury seated upon a rock with ormolu dial with Roman numeral hour markers signed "Tarault à Paris," the brass works unmarked, sarcophagus form base with ormolu musical trophy relief mount and palmette motif border, raised on scrolled acanthus and floral medallion feet. Includes pendulum and key.
