Second half 19th century, porcelain dial with glass cover; Arabic numeral chapter ring within a painted and gilt floral garland, signed "Bailey Banks and Biddle, Philadelphia," works with Japy Frères medallion stamp, model number 11635, set within a weighted green onyx paneled plateau, having ormolu ribbon and medallion mounts, raised on ormolu foliate turned feet, without key and pendulum.
