All octavo (8-3/4 in.), boards with three-quarter leather, to include: Vanity Fair (London: Bradbury & Evans, 1848), later state lacking two of three first edition points (back strip and top board detached from spine; foxing to plates; marks to boards; fair condition, but the repair to spine is fairly simple); The Newcomes (London: Bradbury and Evans, 1854), two volumes, first edition (moderate shelf wear; sound binding; internal foxing and stains; overall good condition). The Virginians London: Bradbury and Evans, 1858), two volumes, first edition points present, being "actresses" on line 33 of page 207 and Chapters 47 and 48 mistakenly being Chapters 48 and 49 (both volumes with owner's bookplate; tightly bound; wear to boards, internal light age toning; some light foxing; good condition overall);
