Salt glazed stoneware with wide lip and wide grooved strap handle, high shoulder over straight sides, stamp "W. DAVIS" to right of handle as well as large coggle wheel "2" (13 in.). The second jug is one gallon with stamp "W. DAVIS" (11 1/2 in.)
