First quarter 19th century, rectangular form with tiered sarcophagus lid, tortoiseshell veneer panels and inlaid silver borders, inlaid silver escutcheon and silver cartouche mount (without monogram), opens to twin lidded compartments with ivory pulls, surrounded by ivory veneer borders, raised on four ball feet, unsigned.
