Late 19th century, the scene likely depicting the Battle of Karnal during Nadir Shah's invasion of India and subsequent defeat of the Mughal army, camel field with vivid imagery of the victorious Nader Shah, his royal guard, and a war elephant, field with cartouches containing Arabic inscriptions, dagger and floral motifs, the main red border with palmette and leaf motifs between two blue minor borders with rosette design elements.

Loss to one corner; with end loss to both ends; selvedge wear and loss; with vertical tear between rear legs of horse; vertical tear to Shah's beard; with some staining.
