The first a two gallon salt glaze stoneware crock stamped "Haxstun, Ottman & Co. / Fort Edward, NY," with free-hand bird on branch decoration, circa 1875 (11 1/2 in.) (stable hairline running from base to below bird's tail feathers, several old glaze pops); the second a crock stamped "Ottman Bro. / Fort Edward, NY," with free hand foliate design, circa 1870 (repaired hairline to one side, two shallow chips to handles).
