Being sold to benefit NC Modernist, non-profit documentation of Modernist houses across North Carolina. Kathleen Werner is an Arizona artist who began her career at age 20 when she opened a boutique that sold meditation art and teas from around the world. She went on to open another gallery, continuing her work as an artist and creating large-scale geometric works, some sculptural. Among her noted works are the "Etazin" chair, a sculptural, outdoor lounge chair that is a permanent installation at Taliesin West, the Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture.
