centering on a bezel set oval mixed cut ruby (12.5 x 10.9 x 6.03 mm) weighing approximately 6.0 carats and with trapezoid cut diamonds weighing approximately 1.43 total carat (F-G color, VS1-SI2 clarity) channel set to the shoulders, signed Julius Cohen and engraved HHP, testing 18KT.

Ruby originally set in a ring purchased from Cartier, New York in the 1960s by consignor's father as a gift to her mother and later reset by Julius Cohen.

Ruby displays a red hue, medium dark tone and strong saturation.

Diamond clarity grading is due to one stone with a chip (most are VS clarity); ruby with surface reaching feather.
