Attributed to East Tennessee, early 19th century, poplar and white pine secondary, dovetailed case, hinged lipped slant lid with loper support, inlaid prospect door flanked by two document drawers, six small drawers and six valanced pigeon holes, the case featuring four graduated scratch beaded drawers flanked by chamfered corner columns with lamb's tongue with distinctive line and diamond inlay, triple line inlay at base, French bracket feet.

42.75 x 41 x 19.25 in., case width 40 in.

Several areas with tight shrinkage splits; later hinges; rear brace blocks replaced; later glue blocks to underside (however, feet appear original); skirt reset.
