Third quarter 19th century, poplar and oak secondary, including two armchairs and six side chais, arched crest rail with scratch bead, pierced and relief carved back splat set within a molded shoe, blue leather over-upholstered seats with brass nail-head trim, straight tapered legs with scratch bead, dovetailed stretcher base.

Armchair 39 x 23 x 18 in., seat height 18 in.

Overall good usable condition with later upholstery; several shoes reset; one side chair with interior patch to stretcher joint on rail; one armchair's back splat with one small crack near top right.
