First quarter 19th century, the smallest in mahogany veneers with light and dark wood oval paterae and border inlays, opens to a single lidded compartment with old but later papered interior, includes key (5 5/18 x 3 3/4 in.); the second of rectangular form, mahogany veneers with lightwood linear inlay, ormolu floral and foliate mounts and shaped escutcheon, opens to a divided interior in tiger oak (7 x 9 3/8 x 5 1/4 in. handle down); the second of rectangular form in rosewood veneers, with shaped brass mounts and escutcheon; opens to an old but later crimson velvet lined interior (5 3/4 x 9 1/2 x 5 1/8 in. handle down).

All with some scratches, veneer cracks and loss, some areas with patched repair; rectangular forms with shrinkage cracks to base; ormolu caddy with loss to underside board corner.
