Inlaid Mahogany Tambour Writing Box and Stationary File

First the George III tambour writing box, circa 1830, mixed wood border inlay, sides with brass ring handle rosette mounts, reeded roll top upper door, pulls back to an open storage interior in tiger oak, with dovetailed lower drawer. (5 x 9 3/4 x 8 in.). Also included is a vintage Georgian style mahogany stationary file, having double brass handles, shaped crest and molded base (11 x 13 1/8 x 7 1/4 in.).
