Early 19th century, mahogany veneer, oak and pine secondary, three part form, upper case with a raised rectangular surface with molded edge, C-scroll lid opens to reveal a divided and drawered interior with sliding writing surface having three hinged panels, the double pedestal base with eight flush drawers, two hinged cabinet doors, flush base, finished back.

Fair condition; surface scratches and staining throughout from use; the top panel with shrinkage crack; interior leather surfaces with shrinkage cracks; the pull-out slide is tight and not operating; left hinged panel missing brass latch; the pedestals are loose from the base trim (once glued), upper case stiles with later oak veneer, lid needs adjustment.
