Worked in multi-color silk threads on linen ground, with verse to upper register honoring the maker's grandmother, "When I was in my tender years / I lost a loving Mother dear / But God my Grandmother pleased to spare / Look here and see her tender care," above maker's name and date "Ann Richardson her Work Aged 7 years 1827," with floral and avian motifs and with Adam and Eve to bottom register, all within a strawberry border, housed under glass in a cove molded painted frame with gilt liner.
