Late 18th century, shaped crest rail with molded edge, pierced back splat and crest rail with relief carved wheat and bellflower motif, over upholstered seat, molded front legs, dovetailed stretcher base.

Underside seat rail retaining Hall family history dating back to 1795.

Later upholstery in poor condition; shoe reset with later screws; two tight hairline cracks to top of back splat; edge knicks to legs and some chipping to feet.
