László Dús is a Hungarian born artist now living and painting in Los Angeles and Budapest. His formal studies were completed at the Fine Art High School and Academy of Fine Arts in Budapest, before emigrating to the United States in 1974.

Well known internationally for his bold abstract paintings and prints utilizing rough edged shapes and bold textural surfaces, his works are in numerous public collections including the Art Institute of Chicago in Illinois, the Detroit Institute of Art in Michigan, the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York and the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C.
