First quarter 20th century, the largest a ship's anchor lantern, marked to shoulder by Scottish maker "M. P. Calloway Limited / Manufacturers / Leith," interior with Sherwoods kerosene lamp and glass chimney (21 1/2 in. handle down); the smaller a signal lantern, likely English, with reticulated hinge cap and intact signal mechanism, unmarked (15 3/4 in.).
