Circa 1840, two part form, mahogany veneer, white pine secondary, top with wave crest pediment and reeded plinths, two hinged double glazed panel doors with divided and drawered interior with prospect door, the base with hinged writing slope having a green baize surface and loper supports, three cock beaded drawers, flush sides, ring turned legs.

No key; missing locks to drawers; maring to writing lid; later green baize; interior prospect door is tight and difficult to open; the case's second drawer is askew and tightly stuck; shrinkage cracks and fill to case sides; hairline crack to left wave of pediment; rear left corner block to pediment is detached (but present).
