Attributed to Stanley or Montgomery County, early 19th century, yellow pine six board dovetailed case, all over red painted field, front panel with central 'DS' surmounted by a key flanked by leaf/vine/root design, rectangular lid with applied edge molding, butt hinges, interior with till to the left side, original clasp and lock, dovetailed applied molded shaped bracket foot base.
