Custom 1965 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible
Lot Details & Additional Photographs
VIN: 194675S114009 Mileage: 21,254 showing

With the original numbers matching 327 cubic inch V8 engine with 250/300 horsepower from the factory and a four speed manual transmission. The engine is stamped with indiscernible HE/HF code as shown in picture. It is equipped with an HEI ignition, and Hooker headers are visible as they join the side pipes outside the car. BF Goodrich Radial T/A's are mounted to new 15" rally style wheels with simulated knock offs.

The trim tag indicates the car was originally Glen Green with a Saddle interior and top. It is now burgundy and black, with a white interior and top. The entire front clip has been replaced with an aftermarket piece with hidden headlights in the grille and a big block style hood. The chrome bumpers have been removed. The repaint indicates the body was off, as the paint is thorough. The white interior pieces such as door cards and dash pad appear newer than original, and are likely aftermarket.

From the Collection of a Gentleman, Clarkton, North Carolina.

Due to failing health the car wasn't driven much in the last couple of years.

*Update*- Since LLA obtained the vehicle, the brakes were found to be in need of repair. The nature of a hydraulic system over long term storage is prone to failure. All rear brake lines have been replaced, as well as both rear calipers and pads. Master cylinder has also failed and replacement is in route. Pickup will be available the week of 11/5 after the braking system has been deemed repaired to LLA standards.

The following condition report, while thorough, is not exhaustive as vintage cars have inherent wear and imperfections. We welcome personal inspections.

The repaint bears a few scrapes and imperfections as indicated in the pictures to follow shortly, it contains a lot of flake and shines bright; interior in overall good condition; frame and other components show surface rust, not concerning; rear brake lines were replaced in house; and one rear caliper replaced recently; no other apparent concerns.
