Worked in multi-color silk threads on linen, with six alpha- numeric rows above a cartouche containing makers name, age, and date, "Emma C Ritter / Aged 8 years / 1844," and motifs to include floral and fruit filled baskets, a bird, tree, and flower blooms, presented under glass in a cove molded frame with gilt liner.
