Worked in multi-color silk thread on loose weave linen, upper and lower panels with floral motif, with rows of upper and lower case alphabet and numbers and with maker's initial, bottom register with partial verse reading, "To think of summers yet to come / Tha I am not to see / To think a weed is yet...); lower right to read, "Frederick County, Va / Lucinda P. Moss," housed under glass and presented in an early black frame.
