Late 19th-early 20th century, likely Mexico, gesso with applied gilt and pigment, the first a depicting the Virgin of Guadalupe, with metal crown and inset metal ray surround (20 in.); the second of the the Madonna standing atop a sphere, holding the Christ child with globe in hand, mounted atop a later base (20 1/2 in.).

Scattered areas of paint and gilt loss, some areas of later paint and touch up; loss to Guadalupe Madonna fingers and some metal rays.
