Late 18th century, three part form, pine and oak secondary, broken arched pediment featuring relief carved rosette and dentil molding, central molded plinth, frieze with applied stylized Gothic arch, the bookcase with two hinged astragal molded doors, louvered shelved interior above three small side-by-side drawers, the bureau with hinged lipped slant lid with loper support, divided interior featuring a mirrored prospect door with single interior drawer, two reeded document drawers, ten small drawers and four valanced pigeonholes, the case with four graduated cock beaded drawers with full dust boards, shaped ogee bracket feet.

Pediment with break and repair above dentil molding; some veneer losses; bookcase with later linen lining; cut/patch to case near escutcheon a lock; later mirror to prospect door; writing surface is worn with wear; loose hinges to prospect door; left/right sides with shrinkage splits; feet are old and appear original but have several hairline cracks and repairs, some tipped lower inch.
