Circa 1800, two part form, dovetailed case, white pine secondary, distinctive cornice with applied pediment, two hinged paneled cabinet doors, the interior with six valanced pigeonholes, single shelf, two pull-out candle slides, the desk with molded hinged lid with loper support, nicely divided and stepped interior with (13) drawers featuring two relief carved fan drawers, serpentine fronts, four valanced pigeonholes, the case with four graduated flush drawers, tall bracket feet with spur.

81.5 x 40 x 20.5 in.

Lid with tight shrinkage splits; cut/patch/repair to hinge joint at lid; old but later brasses; bracket feet are old and appear original, left rear foot facing tipped.
