Marcolini acted as director of the Meissen porcelain manufacture from 1774-1813 his insignia a star below the crossed swords.

Girl: Restoration of raised hand with loss of stick; doll restored; small base fill; original firing line to column; small nick to column corner; loss of gilt around the base plinth. Platter: chips to handle tips; scrapes to two interior ridges.
