(London: The Company of Stationers, 1641), folio (14-1/2 in.), full calf, the first volume being Acts and Monuments Of matters most speciall and memorable, happening in the Church, with an universall Historie of the same, the top board with an armorial crest and stamped in gilt as "The Gift of Thomas Harriatt Esquire"; the second volume being an earlier London printing of 1631 stamped "R R" in gilt, also folio and full calf, "with a general discourse of these later Persecutions, horrible troubles and tumults, stirred up by Romish Prelates in the Church..."

Considerable wear and aging to boards as expected; the top board of the first volume is disbound; internally, the text for both books is toned with some creasing. Overall fair condition.
