, the top board with an armorial crest and stamped in gilt as "The Gift of Thomas Harriatt Esquire"; the second volume being an earlier London printing of 1631 stamped "R R" in gilt, also folio and full calf, "with a general discourse of these later Persecutions, horrible troubles and tumults, stirred up by Romish Prelates in the Church..."
Considerable wear and aging to boards as expected; the top board of the first volume is disbound; internally, the text for both books is toned with some creasing. Overall fair condition.
