London, circa 1795, mahogany veneers with light wood linear border inlays, consisting of a shaped platform with mechanism within signed "589 / Weeks's / R. Mech. Museum Tichborne St." tapered column marked with 0-3 feet for height measure with and additional 3 feet extension within, verso with hinged weight platforms, all raised on three shaped bracket feet. Includes a set of cased brass nesting weights marked in pounds and stones, case lid signed.
