The first by George Adolphus Storey, R.A. (1834-1919), a sketch of a reclining woman, signed with artist's initials to margin, matted and framed under glass (Frame dimensions 12 1/4 x 17 1/8 in.) (mat burn, toning to sheet, corners of sheet glued to card); the second by Frederich William Keyl (1823-1871), a portrait study of a bearded man, inscribed at lower right, dated 1846, matted and framed under glass (Frame dimensions 11 1/2 x 9 1/2 in.) (mat burn, toning to sheet, not examined out of the frame).
