France, late 19th century, waisted wood case with tortoiseshell veneers, brass marquetry inlay and rocaille and foliate form ormolu mounts, conforming hinged glass escapement door decorated with cast ormolu putto, opens to unmarked round figural cast dial with shaped enamel chapter panels, brass works stamped "1161/ 7.7," the whole surmounted by an ormolu angel and raised on splayed foliate cast feet. Includes pendulum and keys.
28 x 14 x 6 1/2 in.
