Lot Details & Additional Photographs
Early 19th century, both smoothbores, each with a 9 in. barrel having an approximately .70 caliber bore; one with a crown over B proof on the barrel and a crown over W proof on the lockplate; the other pistol with Arabic marks to the barrel and lockplate; both guns have walnut stocks with brass and iron mounts.

Both pistols are 15-1/2 in. overall length.

Private Collection, Greensboro, North Carolina

Working action; both with numerous dents and marks on the stock; one pistol with diagonal hairlines on both sides; the pistol with Arabic marks appears to have several tally lines on the trigger guard and three more in the wood before the trigger guard. Overall good used condition for both, making for an attractive pair of weapons.
