Late 18th century, chestnut secondary, dovetailed case, hinged lipped slant lid with bread board ends and loper support, stepped interior with central relief shell carved drawer, eight valanced pigeonholes, seven small drawers, the case with four graduated lipped drawers, ogee bracket feet.

A nice example with pronounced ogee feet and note rear beveling to back of rear feet facings; brasses are old and in original holes.

Light staining and wear to top surface; lip repair to right edge of lid; later hinges with shrinkage crack and repair to right hinge; missing one valance; later drawer guides; drawer runners rebuilt; upper drawer with later bottom boards; ogee feet facings are original but have been reset; right rear foot tipped.
