American or English, early 19th century, wood, gesso and metal, pronounced carved right facing eagle grasping a bellflower swag resting atop two entwined snakes and acanthus leaves which receive the bellflower swag over a circular convex mirror with beaded and acanthus leaf surround, each side with two gilt metal candle arms with drop prisms, acanthus leaf drop decoration.
