Mid-19th century, 38-3/4 in. octagonal barrel, approximately .44 caliber with double-set triggers, figured maple stock fitted with brass furniture to include an ornate patch box; other ornamentation consists of German silver inlays, wooden ramrod present; the lockplate with minimal engraving. Overall length 55 in.
