1920, having a short rounded neck above a high shoulder and tapered body, decorated in pastel blue semi-gloss with hand-carved bayou windmill palms, lit by a half hidden moon, against a medium blue field. The underside bears the impressed "N" within a "C" and the year letters "LD" (1920). Additionally the vase retains a Newcomb College paper label. Artist mark not found but design attribution to Anna Frances Simpson (1880-1930).
