18th century, mixed hardwoods with all over blue painted field over gesso and gilt trim highlight, arched crest rail with asymmetrical relief carved and pierced foliate motif, paneled arms and acanthus carved knuckles, shaped arm support, upholstered back and slip seat, serpentine front seat rail with repeating carved and pierced asymmetrical foliate motif, cabriole legs with whorl foot.
