18th century, a tall beaker vase of octagonal form, painted with a cartouche of a floral arrangement alternating with a cartouche of a peacock feather (14 1/4 in.) (tight5 rim hairline; wear to vase interior; rim fritting; several large base rim chips) unidentified mark to the underside and a mantel vase with cover, finely painted with a river scened, village dwellings along the banks (HOA 13 1/2 in.) (break and loss to finial's tail and other chips to cover; vase body with rim chips, restoration, hairline, and base rim chips) underside marked with the symbol of an axe.
