Nancy Baker earned her BFA from the School of Visual Arts, New York. Her work has been exhibited widely throughout the US, including ODETTA Gallery in Brooklyn, Mark Moore Gallery in Southern California, Winkelman Gallery in New York, Marcia Wood Gallery in Atlanta, Jancar Gallery in Los Angeles, Greenhill Center, Greensboro, NC, the North Carolina Museum of Art in Raleigh, Heriard-Cimino Gallery in New Orleans, 1708 Gallery in Richmond, Virginia and many more.

Baker was awarded two North Carolina Artists Fellowships, a Tennessee Individual Artist Fellowship and an NEA Southern Arts Fellowship.

The MTA Arts and Design program awarded her two commissions for train stations in Brooklyn, where she currently resides. She was also invited to participate in the 22nd Annual Islamic Art Festival at the Sharjah Art Museum, UAE (2019-2020).

Craquelure; yellowing of varnish; some deterioration of paint layers creating some surface inconsistencies (mat areas and several bumps).
