Attributed to North Carolina, early 19th century, yellow pine secondary, three-part form, associated top with cove molded cornice and vertically veneered frieze above two hinged raised panel cabinet doors, shelved interior, together on a chest of drawer featuring a large upper drawer above three graduated drawers all with scratch bead and lightwood line inlay, shaped bracket foot base.

The Estate of the late Frank Daniels, Jr. and his wife Julia Jones Daniels, Raleigh, North Carolina. A portion of the sale proceeds will be donated to the North Carolina Museum of History Foundation

Top and chest are associated (not original to each other); left cabinet door is detached (but present) and lower hinge is broken; top section backboards cut open for entertainment use; later feet; drawer runners and drawer guides rebuilt; shrinkage split to lower left case side.
