Originally from Chicago, Falk moved to Arizona in 1960 and began painting full time focusing on still lifes and landscapes of the Southwest. The culture and history of the area provided her ample inspiration and she is best known for her lush floral still lifes, Western still lifes, and Pueblo or Plains Indian Landscapes. She has had many exhibitions at musuems in the Southwest including: The Albuquerque Museum, The Tuscon Museum of Art, The Phippen Museum, and The National Museum of Wildlife Art in Jackson, Wyoming,
