19th century, carved wood with gesso and polychrome, both unmarked, the first likely Continental, depicting a figure with wearing cloak and sash, standing atop a later wood base with single socket fixture, includes shade (figure 20 3/4 in.; 33 3/4 in. including harp), the second possibly Spanish Colonial, depicting a figure kneeling upon a carved base, mounted atop a later base with fluted wood column wired for use as lamp (17 3/4 in.).

Both with losses to arms, chipping and paint loss; standing figure with scattered old insect damage and edge losses, lamp is operating; kneeling figure with areas of old later paint, missing fixture.
