Ash glazed stoneware hand-built and carved, the three piece set of a Grecian style urn and two elongated wall pockets, are designed to be hung, each with an appropriate aperture and wire, each signed "Parmentier".

Jim and Sherl Parmentier have been collaborating together in their pottery studio for over 35 years, "designing and creating work that we both find creative and functional. Our inspiration comes from within, the design of one piece becoming the base for the next. Most pieces are touched on by both of us either in the design, the making or the carving." Their studio is located in Mars Hill, North Carolina, nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains not far from Asheville.
