Rowan County, circa 1820, yellow pine secondary, two part form, rectangular top with rear chair rail molding overhang and applied molded edge, large bonnet drawer (faux double drawer) to the left side, flanked by two small stacked drawers, above two long drawers, all graduated and lipped and with light wood line inlay, the frame with applied top molded edge, distinctive arched skirt with central demilune drop to front and sides, four stylized cabriole legs with trifid foot.

44.5 x 40.5 x 20.5 in.

Top with two small cut/patches, and dark staining; later pulls; the upper long drawer with three cut/patches (one at center, one at corner, one at lip); shrinkage split at frame to the right front foot; later drawer guides; some drawer runners rebuilt; missing some locks.
