First half of the 18th century, two-part form, burlwood veneers, oak and pine secondary, the upper case featuring a cornice with applied cove molding double bonnets and side return bonnets, two hinged beveled mirror cabinet doors, the well-developed interior with central hinged beveled dressing mirror and cabinet above six small drawers with herringbone inlaid edge, flanked by six louvered compartments, and surmounted by eight valanced pigeon holes and two hinged demilune compartments, the base of the bureau with candle shelves; the desk with hinged slant lid with loper support, quad panel burl veneers with herringbone inlays, interior with central deep well, central mirrored prospect door, eight bowfront small drawers, six valanced pigeon holes, the case with two over two graduated cockbeeded drawers, bookmatched mahogany veneers, herringbone inlays, bracket foot base.
