The first a mixed media collage, titled Coleur d'or, signed lower left, retaining gallery label to verso, matted and framed under glass (Frame dimensions 17 1/2 x 15 1/2 in.); the second a mixed media collage, from the Peach/Gold Series, 1987, signed at lower left, matted and framed under glass (Frame dimensions 14 3/4 x 16 3/4 in.).

Nancy Tuttle May has been a fixture in the arts community of Durham, North Carolina for many years. She studied at Wake Forest University, and later at the Università per Strainieri di Perugia, Italy and Université Canadienne en France in Villefranche-sur-Mer, France, before returning to the United States to live and practice. Tuttle May's works - abstract and color field in style - are present in many collections, including the Duke University Medical Center, Durham; Weatherspoon Art Museum, Greensboro; SAS Institute, Cary; Nations Bank, United States and Australia; and The Breakers, Palm Beach.

Good estate condition; neither examined out of the frame.
